im not exactly sure how many there are but I know that on each headlamp housing, where the adjustment screws go through the core support, there are one or two clips that just slide out on each side. They will look like a bent piece of metal. Pull straight up on them and they should come out. then there should be one or 2 nuts the hold the side marker on take them off and they pull out. Installation is reverse. hold your old housing up to your new one and adjust the screws to a roundabout even spot and put them back in. Pull it up to a piece of plywood or a wall so you can aim them correctly. Good luck!
