1996 FoMoCO Mustang Book says on page 01-02-12:
"radiator Grille Opening Pannel Reinforcement: Part #: 8A284
(not sure exactly what they mean by that, thats why i povided the page number, incase you have the book too.... or if someone else does.)

i don't know if you are looking for an original one( mine was a heavy duty fiberglass) but i got a replacement one from rockauto.com for like 20 bucks but it was a lot lighter. i haven't had any problems with it flexing or the headlights becoming mis-aligned. hope that helps. oh and rock auto has a capa certified for around 60 i think those are the oem ones but used from an auto recycler

not that i think it's alot, but for that particular part... it is haha I'm a full time college student building a race car, I got to save as much cash as possible, pluss i just got a dui so now i owe the state of new jersey $1500... oops

i would look on their site, there is an option to select a "capa certified" part. i am assuming that is the oem type fiberglass one. not sure on that though so you might want to call them and ask. the one i pulled off my car was a replacement and had this capa sticker on it so that is why im assuming its the same.

I want one because mine is cracked, plus I hate bumper sag with a passion. It's rare to see a sn95 with virtually no bumper sag which equates to a tight looking front end. Mine is not noticeable but i can see it.
I hope the fact that its not cheaper because the quality is garbage. If the quality is top notch, then I'll get a reproduced one.
