So I bought a pair of projector headlights to replace my factory headlights, and after emailing american muscle twice asking if healdight covers would work on them it was confirmed twice that they should work on the projectors, so I purchased them and installed them, then last week on a 90 degree day I was leaving work and I heard a crack but didn't think anything of it. As I'm pulling into my driveway at home I hear another crack and run something over, so I drive into my spot and look back and see my passenger side cover laying on the ground smashed, and with further inspection of the driver side I noticed that it was cracked as well. Long story short I loved the look of the "blacked out" headlight look, so what should I do? Should I replace the covers and hope it doesn't happen again? Or did I get a faulty pair? Or should I buy tint off ebay and cut my own and tint it? I would have just bought smoked headlights if I would have known that. Any input helps.

Thanks :)
Josh
