You can get headliner material at a fabric store, and it's easy to pop the headliner out, peel off the old, scrub the foam off with a wire brush, then use 3m headliner adhesive to put new on, paying attention to the exposed edges when you trim to make it look right. I've built a few like this, they usually turn out real nice if you do it right.

The cardboard is in there from the factory, that's what you peel the old one off of and scrub the remaining backing foam from. It's also what keeps the headliner off your head, when new anyways.

Even with the sunroof? My headliners been pulled down before and was just thrown back up it looks like. The power to the sunroof was cut and wires were hanging around making the liner sag more. I might try and make the new carboard piece but will see after I clean up wireing and get the foam all off. Thanks
