Hi everyone,

Ive been off the forums for a while, been doing major remodels on the house. I never did any of the work on my car, but I want to do it this summer. The major question I have now is how bad does your mpgs' get with a vortech blower. I will have non-pi heads, pi intake, custom blower cams ( nothing too bumpy) and the vortech V-1 kit. Does it affect fuel consumption allot, or just when I would stomp on it. I get good milage now, and will sacrifice some, but I don't want a total pig. Any info will be appreciated. :TY:

You CAN actually get better mileage with the blower, of course, like you said, put your foot in it often, and it will suffer.

With 4.10's and a Novi 2200, I got about 18 mpg with my five speed, about 22 when I went to 4.30's and a T56. City was under 10, either way, lol.
