Just saying hello. Picked up a 1999, Laser Red convertible For cruising around. It’s the V6 with an automatic but that is fine for me. I bought for top down cruising not collecting speeding tickets .

I’ve had her for about a month and while I wait to get my plates from the DMV I’ve spent time cleaning her and searching for a few pieces online. So far she has new headlights with LED bulbs, a new LED 3rd tail light, new red Mustang mats and an OEM boot cover I found on eBay. The 17” chrome wheels and tyres are on order. White gauge faces and a new sound system will be done fairly soon. In the mean time I will work on the paint correction and fix the scratches and chips on her.

Welcome! I used to have a 98 v6 in laser red years ago. I love how that color pops. Looks like yours is in pretty good shape too.

Thank you for the welcome. Yes, she’s in good shape only a few scratches as far as the body goes and the motor has less than 60k. It mostly needs cleanup and a little TLC. I love the Laser Red as well; definitely an eye catcher. Especially with the white roof lol

She’s usually undercover at the moment and as soon as I finish the garage shelving (the next week or two) she will go back in there.
