Picked up my first Mustang a few weeks ago and it was suggested that I check out this forum. Car is a 1994 Cobra with 44k original miles on it. It was well taken care of and super clean. #4089 of 5009

Thanks! My husband and I are Ford people, but we finally made the leap into the Mustang world. We've owned 15+ SHOs over the years so it was time to check out RWD.

Took it to the local drag strip this past Wednesday for "Ladies Night". It's completely stock and I thought I would have seen a better time. A bit bummed, but we have a few plans for it while still keeping it original. We figure it has survived this many years, let's not go too far that it can't go back to stock. Thinking exhaust, suspension, and wheels/track tires.

We're more "road course" anyways, but a faster 1/4 mile time would be nice! I need some practice, which will help too.

Its a good starting point. That car has a lot of potential. Have fun with it. Start with some gears first

Welcome, car looks awesome. Gears would definitely help you run quicker, the stock ones are a killer.
