Hello just another stang owner

Hey guys. I'm new to the forums, not so new to mustangs. Just bought a 97 cobra cheaper than dirt 150k on it owner says he thinks it threw a timing chain pulling the valve covers this weekend and taking a peak before i pull the timing chain cover. Bought the car with the intention of ripping it apart and building a 4v turbo car anyway so no big deal got it for about 1200. Had a blown 2v I built for years loved it and wanted to get back into it.

yeah I know. Worked on one before wasn't mine though. Thanks! well either way got to pull her out in the end and build a rotating assembly.

1200 isn't too bad depending on the rest of the car.
Does the rest of the car appear stock?

yeah it does, except for the obvious flowmasters, and k&n.

oh yeah body looks great, just two small spots on the roof and 2 on the front bumper. No big deal I'll get some new paint on it when im done.
