hey whats up guys..new to the site..im currently stangless, but in the process of looking at a few..i just sold my 2005 redfire GT because of financial reasons, and now looking to pick up a 01 with cash... let me know if you guys think this is a good deal.. 2001 mineral grey GT with black leather 5 speed with 95,000 miles for 6K....car is bone stock....what sort of things would i be looking at replacing with this kind of high mileage??

Welcome from VA! Sorry to hear about losing your stang. Most of us have been in similar situations. Hopefully you'll be back cruising in one soon.

Depending on how the previous owners cared for the vehicle it could be anything from a basic tune up to a lot more. Hopefully you'll get lucky and find one that hasn't been abused to much. Good luck!

hey guys!, its been about 2 years since i have posted anything, but i finally picked up a SN95 (last june) lol. decided to swing by and check in! when i bought it it had 43,000 miles, now has about 50K. 2002 mineral grey 5 seed leather mach 460 etc. Current mods are KN CAI, JBA headers, Magnaflow catted X with magnapacks cat back, FRPP aluminum drive shaft. SCT touch Screen tuner with Bama 93 race tune. My plans for it this spring summer is to lower it on HR super sports/konis , rims/tires ( im loving fomoco01s car) so im thinking of copying and going with the silver FR500s if i can find them, and possibly doing comps stage 3's.

had the car for almost a year and took the first pics of it yesturday after a detail!!

haha yea no kidding!! the S197 was fun but for some reason i enjoy this car alot more! sounds a hell of a lot better and overall is just alot more fun to drive than the S197. the 05 just felt to big.

Very nice shape, and you can't beat the miles (or lack of). Put some springs on, maybe some wheels, and keep it stock!

I spy a Fox and a GT500 in the back. Mustang family? Nice stable of cars.
