help airbag problem

Just noticed that the air bag module was unplugged. So I plugged it back in and now it beeps 5 times in a row waits a second and beeps another 5 times in a row. It does the series of 5 beeps and 1 second pausing intervals 5 times. I noticed the bulb didn't light up so I replaced it and now its on all the time. No flashes just solid on and the air bag module is still beeping. This is on a 96 gt no accidents.
