Well first of all i have a 4.6 97gt...i have a couple of mods, but nothing serious..so i just finished hooking up my fans directly with a switch, everything is good, then one of the wires gets burnt out...so i replace it with a thicker wire...and everything seems okay and i have no problems for the whole day..and today in the morning i try to turn on my car and it doesnt seem to want to turn on..im pretty sure its not the battery because my headlights turn on/my fans turn on/all electrical is working....and normaly when i turn on my car i would hear my fuel pump, and the voltometer on the dash reads my voltage...but no luck...i know its not my starter/alternator/maf sensor/or Iac valve....the only thing that i could think of is my kill switch which the previous owner had installed, typically there is a blinking light coming from the switch and today there was no blinking light...so if you guys can help me out it would be greatly appreciated..

kill switch?? is it a after market alarm??? if so then you might have created a surge when messing with the thicker wires..

no worries bro

just backtrack your connections, look for loose ends and exposed wires that could have grouded out. then start checking the fuses...

the same exact thing happened to me. turn your key to on and listen if the fuel pump primes the fuel rails.. it'l make a buzz sound for 3 to 5 seconds. if you hear silence then you should pull the fuse for your pump.

there is an inertia fuel pump shut-off switch in the trunk on the drivers's side under the grey cover, that "in theory" kills the fuel in case of an accident. i have heard of these not doing shit in accidents, but have also seen first-hand that they can foul-up.

depress the red button on top of the switch and try to restart. there should be a sticker on the grey trunk liner that addresses this issue...my car has one. also check your owner's manual on this.

this should be your problem...it happened to me. good luck.
