Help!!: How to determine the brand of a used set of gears...

Hi, I found a guy selling 373's locally and wanted to pick them up. He says they are brand new, never used and is selling them at a great price. The only thing is he bought them at a swap meet and can't remember whether they are ford racing or motive. I just want to know what I'm buying before I buy them. On top of the pinion the numbers 373 and 1L5LAM8L are stamped. Does anyone know what brand these are???? Any info would be appreciated, Thanks.

if they are FORD they should have the FORD logo like this:

Well, since these don't have the ford logo I guess they're not ford then....
