Depends on where you live, and what type of climate your car sees. If it is constantly hot, I would run 10w30, if its normal temps all year around just stick with 5w30, key here is w30 << 30 weight and the number in front tells you how well it circulates under cold starts. Both protect at a certain operating temperature.

Stock weight is 5W30.

I use 5W30 too but my car only has 74K. A lot of people actually run 20W50 also.

check out www.bobistheoilguy.comhttp:// and prepare to be informed and maybe addicted to the site
(i know i am)

you live in cali so i would say amsoil SS 0w30 or german castrol 0w30 maybe redline 5w30

but really any synthetic 5w30 will work fine and be easier to find

My cap says 5W30 but I also bought these in 2001. They are 94/95 cobra valve covers I got from my local ford dealer.

so they are non stock parts for your car, bought several years AFTER you purchased it... hrmmm...

I'd like to think that my source is a tad bit more reliable.
