Im in the process of putting my new front struts in and cannot get the bolt ontop of my caster camber plates loose... Ive even hit it with a impact gun which the shop that installed them said I would need. Any Ideas.. this is my luck

There should be something you can hold onto on the strut when you are taking the nut off. It should prevent the strut shaft from spinning and will allow you to take the strut nut off. Check for something that you can put a wrench around.

Ive looked theres nothing.. I tried holding it by hand and with vice grips since their trash.. no luck. These bolts are rediculously tight.. Im considering cutting them since im trashing all of the old parts.

Might as well. Just make sure you have a replacement nut before you do that.

loosen them while the car is on the ground. the weight of the car helps to keep the strut from spinning. use the impact

if you have NEW struts, we had to grind mine off... it will ruin the strut, but thats what we had to do.

I tried a screwdriver in the top while trying to turn teh bolt, but the screwdriver snapped off....

Ya that nut is tight as can be.. I didnt try the impact while it was on the ground so Ill do that.. Backs went in in less than 30 min. no problem. Ill either have the shop that put them in hit it with their impact.. they have much more air pressure than my compressor can put out.
