HELP!!! trans swap in progress need help

okay so we've definately bummed up the last friggin bolt on the bellhousing...
all other botls are out in the auto and i need that last bolt out to yank the damn thing..

whats the location of the bolt? and what did you do, strip it? if its one of the top ones, do this:

reinstall and hand tighten all the bolts
remove the top bolts FIRST and then work your way down, going from side to side.

if its the top bellhousing bolt thats stripped, chances are you will have to remove the intake manifold to get better access to it to try to get a wrench on it (closed end) or any kind of tool to remove stripped bolts.

gotta make sure that everything is balanced man.

it was the top left on the bellhousing...

ended up torching the SOB out of there...NOT fun.

anyways its all done! now just have to figure out why the trans is popping out of second and 4th :wall: :wall: :wall:

is the clutch adjusted properly? that could be the cause

yeah ended up that the shift stops on the pro 5.0 short throw i bought were set up for a t5 or something :dunno:
backed them out and shifts like a champ now :dancing6:
