Got VVME kit.

Plugged them in and nothing.

stock light plug ---> ballast ---> HID bulb.

Am I doing anything wrong?

There's a alternative relay setup on the install guide but I thought you don't need that.

No you don't are you sure you have the ballast plugged in properly ??

You go from the Stock plug into the Adapter into the Ballast then from the ballest into the Bulb and the bulb inside the housing.

umm plug ballast 2 pronge harness straight into stock female plug firmly? lol

Isn't that all there is to do with that?

The ballast has 2 plugs out to fit the 2 plugs in the HID bulb harness.

Flip it around? It only goes one way to fit the clips.

Well there is a latch clip on the harness's so I put them the way the clips lined up. They go the other way in order to work.. very easy mistake to make. I'm glad for the help on the easy fix.

I got 8000K. It is actually for my Sonoma ZR2. They look very good. There's a little flicker when they are turned on cold though.

I got another 8000k kit sitting in the garage waiting to go into the Mustang when I get on that.

my VVME kit:

2 plugs to bulb > ballast
1 plug from ballast to OEM headlight socket
1 plug to ground
1 plug to battery (the one with the external fuse on it)

ill take a look tomorrow at work.

There should be no difference plugging into the stock bulb harness as a 12 volt source.

Here's a pic to see the difference if anyone wanted to know.

Are your headlights both low and hi beam in the same bulb? If so, that relay harness is necessary so the brights are getting the proper voltage...

But who needs brights when you have HID's?

Don't feel bad, I did that while installing a kit and it's pretty easy to get them swapped around.
