LMAO at launching with street tires and 4.56 gear on the street!!!!!

you need a drag radial at the least.

To maximize your launch, you'd want softer springs on the rear to transfer more weight backwards. Lowering it will only hurt your launch. You would want the front and rear to be even, ideally for launching you'd want the rear to be lower than the front for the best launch. The ZR1 is about .5" lower on the rear than the front.

Softening and evening out the suspension along with chassis/suspension and tire mods will have you sticking like glue.

Haha sounds good I'll have to look into it man. Cause i love these gears. and yea I'm getting coil overs eventually in the front so i can adjust it later to sit different. but yea I just need someone to sell/trade me some radials! haha

^Because he asked about launching on the street, not the dragstrip.

this is the road course section....as in taking your car to the road course. not racing on the road.

if you don't know what a road course is...feel free to google nasa or scca racing and they should be able to help you. so once again...you won't be doing much 'launching' on the road course.

My response was mostly directed to aussiebj man since he said it should be moved to the drag racing section. I only quoted you because you also said it should be moved, but you are 100% correct it isn't related to road course either. Chill out, its all good :)

Yea I appreciate it yall I'll check it out in the drag form. Only reason I came in here is because I figured yall might have some information for launching on street asphalt, and not the flat paved strips. But all the information I got was helpful! I'm looking into trading my stock 17" cobras for some 15" wheels so I can place some nice radials on there to gain grip.
