Help with Welds up fornt

I jumped on the Summit Greg Weld wheel sale and picked up 15X8s for the back and 15X5s up front. I?m trying to make it more of a DD which is why I didn?t go with the 3.5s. I?ve got to choices for the fronts, 205/70/15 or 185/65/15.

The 205 is obviously wider but my question is the height. The 185 is 24.5? tall and the 205 is 26.3? tall. I?ll be running a 295/50/15s in back which are 26.7? tall.

My original thought was the 205 because it?s almost identical in height to the 295 in back. But almost all the pics I see of SN-95s with prostars/dragstars have skinnies up front (165s) which are shorter than the rears. I?m now wondering if having the same height front and rear would look ?unbalanced?.

Any help/input in greatly appreciated.

Ill post some pics in a bit. I have some with the 26 front and rear and some 26 with a 28 rear.

we may run 165's up front... but thats 165/85/15

The only 165s I could find were 165/80/15s which are about 25.5". That would make the 165/85 about 26" tall.

Now I understand. I'm going to go put on my helmet so I don't hurt myself. :BangHead:

295's fit on a 8" rim?!

O just to help you out. I have the 165/80 i believe. When I was looking awhile ago for them there were on a national back order. But you can find them on ebay.
