HELP!!!

Ok I just got home from from school and turned my car on for the first time in a month ( I know not good ). But anyway now i hear some weird hissing sound ( more like air being released from a tire ) coming from the driver side fender. Anyone know what it could be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you even looked to SEE what it could be?


More than likely its either your horn leaking or your blow off valve. Go look and let us know what you SEE.

Oh yeah...BTW...not starting/running your car for a month is not going to hurt anything..

I let my 95 sit for 3 months...not a big deal.

If he doesnt have a power adder, then there is no blow off valve. That and i have never seen a blow off valve on the drivers side unless hes got some radical setup. And i thought horns were electrical? idk though for sure



Check your EVR tree, that is inside the Right fender, maybe a hose came loose, that is a likely culprit. Did you drive the car? check your vaccum lines and tires

When i rev the engine the sound stops until i release the pedal.

Sorry i know close to nothing about cars.

that's the cruise control unit......the vacume line is leaking.

That and i have never seen a blow off valve on the drivers side unless hes got some radical setup.

Thats funny...my tial was right behind my drivers side fog light.
