well i just got my stroker crank back from the shop getting it all polished and cleaned up and it was in the box in the basement.....

well today it rained a whole let which melted all the snow we had here too, which was a good 3-4" so my basement flooded, i never knew the basement floods and whats even worse is i just put it their last night. Anyways its all covered in rust, is their anyway i can clean the rust off my self or do i need to send it back out?

jesus you can try and soak it in some oil and see if that will work the surface rust off, if not send it back and see if they know any slick tricks

Thats so minor. Thats like stains really. Use WD40 and a super fine soft scotch bright.

have you tried some motor oil/wd-40 and a rag? I bet it will wipe right off too. You really only need to worry about the journals anyway
