my car is full bolt on guys.. with stock ignition... i have a miss at high rpms.


anyone know what it could be?


i keep smelling gas in the car but i think it may be from th h-pipe. but idk..

Yes smell could be from H-pipe most likely. Check or replace your coil if it's old. I had my coil go bad and caused this problem and/or your ignition module can be the problem(on the inner fender wall passenger side under the stock filter housing). They go bad sometimes. I changed those two when i had the ignition problem.

BUT i checked every where for the problems such as burned or cracked spark plug wires etc etc.

help me understand how the h pipe has anything to do with a gas smell?

by gas you do mean fuel right?

i have seen that alot of times when our cars get a fuel smell that the black flex fule line in the engine compartment is known for going bad.

yea.. wonder were that line is located from what he says he cant find it either..

It is located inside the passenger side fender. i smell fuel after my x-pipe install. Mine is off road also, so i steer towards more to H-pipe. But it could be your lines. check to see. :thumb:

I had the same problem with the gas smell i found out it was the gas cap, pretty sure thats what it is.

did you just replace it? could it be the filler neck gasket?
