well... i noticed the gigantic text on the front of the pulley. ive been TQing it the correct direction since i started, so no worries on that...
as for the holes, they have no threads... so im not sure how they help.... .

this is what it looks like to me, but i could be wrong.
the bolt is not supposed to move, it looks like its there to HOLD while the pulley is moved. the 3 holes would allow a tool to insert and be smacked by a hammer or something to break the pulley free.
have you tried holding the 19mm bolt head and get someone to SMACK the pulley on the "spoke" to see if it will break free.

hm. i will see if i can presidentially-solution my pulley puller onto the front of the pulley, then apply TQ to the puller, instead of the bolt while its being held in place... thats another one to try.
heres what lethal-p sent me:

That's a tough one. I suggest putting 2 bolts in the crank opposite one another. Then use a pry bar and wedge it between the 2 bolts to use as leverage. That should help you lock up the crank while you hit the crank bolt with an impact gun. The most important thing is that you're turning the bolt the correct direction. You probably know that but just wanted to make sure because if you turn it counter clockwise you're only tightening it. Just make sure to turn the bolt clockwise to loosen it.
Let me know how it turns out.

i will probably try this one first... maybe zip tie the trigger on my impact gun down and go watch TV for a few hours

i assure you, if i fugg up my crank. document the process THAT THEY SUGGESTED. and my lawyer gives them a phone call, instead of a $10,000 retainer fee for corprate counsil, a $6,000.00 settlement check will be in the mail....
and im not saying this to state that i am going to purpasely ruin my crank... thats the last thing i want to do... avoiding the headaches is the easiest solution. but clearly I cant install the parts using the provided instructions, so that is waht Lethal-P suggested I do. So that is what I will do.
Not to mention i trust lethal-p alot more than people i randomly find on the interwebs. lol.

my uncle says theres something called a spaner wrench. i am supposed to hold the bolt still and turn the pulely with the spanner wrench using the 3 holes....

go get a quality strap wrench (or a chain wrench if you dont care about possibly ruining the original pulley) and a good 1/2 breaker bar and a snipe.. if you can get the strapwrech secured against the engine then do that but if not have someone hold the strap wrench while you torque on the breaker bar. 1/2 impacts arent always the strongest things. i can easily out torque my 1/2 with my 15" MAC ratchet.
not sure whats going on with most post on this forum. that last quote of yours i replied, didnt show up...
anyways, i was saying the only risk is the spoke of the stock pulley getting damaged, which gets replaced anyways right??
hold the bolt, and WHACK the pulley the opposite way with a descent sized bar, you could even grind a small V in the bar/pipe to make sure it doesnt jump off the pulley when you smack it.

metco's instructions dont mention special tools, nor did metco's reply to my e-mail.
