I a new to the forum mainly because I am now at my wits end. I am a technician who has been working on cars for over 10 years. I have a 95 mustang GT vert with 113000 on it. It runs awesome until it stalls out. I have few real altercations because it always ran so good i decided not to install the cobra intake and the cam and the heads etc. I figure with the way gas prices are Ill just leave it so I can enjoy it. Believe me its been difficult not installing all these parts but I have my reasons. Anyway, the car has an MSD plug in ignition, blaster, coil, cold air intake and headers and all that easy quick bolt on stuff. The only thing I recently installed in the new 255 lph fuel pump because the pressure was sitting a little low on my on board gauge.
Anyway, I have been working on these mustangs for several years and in my working on these cars I have never had one stump me so bad. New parts are as follows. Distributor/Pickup. Fuel pump and regulator (Aeromotive adjustable) New ignition Module, CCRM is new. These were all spare parts from a car I converted to carburetor so i switched them out 1 by one hoping to come across what the issue is. . . But no change is symtom. I have done everything I can find as far I diagnostic work by checking values etc. The car will run great for 20 min then just die and crank. Then i get it towed or wait it out and it will start. Then Ill let it run for 2 hours idling in front of my shop and it wont miss a beat. I know its ignition related because I always have fuel pressure. The only thing I am thinking about beyond where I am at is the EEC or harness. I have performed the ford harness wiggle test repeatedly while it sitting there running and not even a stutter. Anyone who has anything else as far as a clue where to go with this I would be eternally grateful. The problem is I cant get the car to fail when I am in a position to search for the problem. It will only fail when it is driven it seems. Def seems temp related but then I can go out after it has been sitting for 2 days and it may fire it may just crank. Of course I never have issues fixing everyone elses car, But when it comes to my own. . . AHHH
