Hibernation time

[1995 GTS]

Although I have only had this car a few months now, it is time to put her away for the winter. :crybaby2: The joys of living in the north I guess.

She just had a bath and is already to be parked... :sleepy1: Enjoy!

There are some beautiful cars here... glad to be a part of it.

Thanks, I waxed it about 2 weeks ago and the weather has been really good here lately... although we are expecting snow next week.

They are ROH brand (not sure of the actually name of the wheel, though) 17x9 front and 17x9.5 out back.

Welcome to the boards, always nice to see another gts on the forums. I believe those are ROH snipers... you see a lot of them on the foxbody cars. Good looking car

Thanks for the info, as I need to get a new set of center caps for them. And yeah, I thought it was pretty cool to find a GTS in really good shape with low mileage. Your car looks sweet, that wingless look is starting to grow on me.

thanks, mine had a wing as well... but it is a gts afterall so it just seemed appropriate to put a wingless decklid on it. I've still got the stock decklid as well, so if I really wanted to I suppose I could go back to a wing any time.

The car has 117 000 kilometers (quick conversion equals) 72K miles. Yes, the car is in great shape. Stored winters which, is generally, the custom for muscle cars up here if you want them to last. The winters here coupled with the way we salt the roads, can kill a once nice car in half the time of our Southern brothers. One of the prerequisites here is to inspect the whole car for rust, especially around the rocker panels and under the carpet around the spare tire well. This car was clean inside and out. One of the first things I did to it was spray it with tranny fluid and STP to keep it that way.

Very cool, my car had 48k when I got it, I've run it up to 56k.
