Just ordered my HID Fogs and wanted to see where people are mounting their Ballasts. Havent got up and under it yet to survey the land so I thought Id ask and get some sort of an idea before I brave the cold to do this. Pictures are DEFINITELY a plus but I know not many people are going to have em.

right by the headlight but make sure there enough room for the radiator cover to come down all the way.

if you want a clean install here's what I did:

HID fog ballasts under the headlight panel and HID headlight ballasts in the fender wells. You can't see an inch of wiring once you've done it like this.

Hey thanks for the pic! I was thinking they wouldnt reach if I mounted them in that area. Now to make up some brackets for them. I dont trust the double sided tape enough to keep them held down with the crappy weather we have here in Ohio.

Madstang, thats a great spot for them. Thanks again for the pics!

I went behind the battery and under the intake. I have heard of people getting abs lights on if they are mounted down too close to the wheels.

Hmm thats weird. Guess the Ballast are so charged they are sending signals to the speed sensors I take it? Ill definitely keep that in mind when I mount mine up. Anyone know if there will be any conflicting problems if I mount them in the same area as I have the Headlight Ballast(Behind Battery and Under Intake like ttocs). Or even fabbing up a bracket to hold both head/fogs in the same spot on each side?

I mounted mine under the bumper/rad support frame near the inward side. Reason why because, my stock location near the fog light housings kept on tripping the ABS sensor light driving me nuts. Now they are further away from it.

On the headlights, i just stuffed the ballasts into the frame support up front. I couldnt really find anywhere to mount them out of sight and this place stays dry.

My fogs are a different story. I mounted the all clean behind my bumper with that SUPER strong 3M double stick tape. Came out clean.

Edit: I have no problems with ABS lights coming on. Why? Because i have no ABS.
