So I've always had HID kits installed on my cars and this is the first one I havent done. Reason being is that I have those stupid angel eye headlights and I ordered my kit for my previous mustang that had OEM lights. Anyways, I'm between jobs so I cant pay to have these put in and want to do it myself. The kit is years old but I know its good. Everything is already set up like wires to the bulbs and all that, now my problem is trying to figure out how to wire up the ballasts to a power source, ground and anything else that is needed. I've searched and searched and can't find a good installation guide, does anyone have a write up or know where i can find one or can make me one? I thought I saved this one site that actually had a video of them installing it on a mustang but i cant remember the site. thanks guys

I have a set waiting to be installed, they just plug into stock connector that bulb would normally go in, then the ballast is wired in through that, and the hid is at the end (goes into stock headlight hole), it's truly a plug n play system i'm waiting to put them in until I get new headlights though.

No my kit is the type before american muscle and others started even selling them. These were kits that came from japan with japanese instructions lol. It used to be the only way you could get them. So, one side is plug and play...the bulb plugs into the headlight and thats it. The rest of the wiring needs to be hooked to a power source and grounded. When I had them installed one time they used relays another shop just used inline fuses so I really need a step by step write up

Ive done 6 installs, 1 on each of my cars and 4 on my friends cars and never had a problem or glitch at all.
also make sure you use electric tape on the connections,Just to make sure connections are secure and tight to prevent glitches.I was driving 80mph at 3 am and all of sudden no lights in the middle of nowhere.

Good luck
Note: I had no experience when install mine on my cars.

A vid i found on Youtube.

man I apreciate it...but my kit does not have a plug that goes to my stock headlight terminal. I have to power my ballasts and relays from a direct source like the battery or the actual headlight relays in the fuse box. I think my pops could figure that stuff out but I dont know. I'll take a picture of the kit and post it later. You'll see what I'm talking about.
