HID kits: Ever had problems?

Good evening. I am getting Cobra headlights for my car and I am going to order and HID kit for them. There is a kit available that comes with relays.

Has anyone ever had a problem running power to HIDs through the stock harness? Like, maybe long term?

5 years with HID.... No problems.

FYI, HIDs use less power than Stock Halogens

Nope going on 2yrs now and never had a problem with Headlights and 1 yr with fogs

Alright well thanks a lot. I know they take less power to run, but I know they require a high voltage to ignite the ballast.

the headlight kit i have runs straight to the battery.

I had a problem once, but it was a faulty ballast. Other than that my HID's have been in for 2 years now and I have had no problems.
