If they are the 9007 bulb kit then I say go for it. I have smoked headlights and the light out put sucked so I had to step to HID's. :)

Yes times like a thousand!! By far the safest mod I have made on mine!! I loved the look of my smoked lights, hurt the brightness of my lights though. I stepped up to Sylvania bulbs. Great for halogens, Nothing to how the HID's were!! & my 1st set up just stunk. I now have a great set. I'm waiting on new lights. Already can't wait. I recommend these for ant Mustang.

My 8k HIDs were the best non-performance mod I've made!! Now I can see the lines on the road at night in a heavy down pour.

These usually look like rice on our cars and they blind everyone you pass because they are cheap junk.

Apparently your my hero. By far one of the best mods you can make to your car. Compared to my halogens I had, my hids are atleast 5X brighter and see so much further.

I get blinded more by people with regular white/yellow/ head lights then I do by someone with hids.

I HAVE THEM IN MY CAR. They work just fine and i also have 3 extra bulbs with the harness to plug into a 9007 chassis too.

I don't understand the hero comment but cool. These kits are usually made cheaply so instead of shooting a beam of light like an OEM light set-up is supposed to do the light shatters all over the place. Some of the HID kits are good but the ones I have seen in my area suck.

Maybe you get blinded more by regular lights because ther are more of them on the road

is it because there's more light output???
the reason you probably dont get blinded by people with HID's as much, is because 99% of factory cars with HID's are using projectors to keep the bulbs from giving off stray/ambient light, that might be directed towards other drivers. as for being blinded by halogen bulbs, the headlights are probably way off proper alignment.
