high oil pressure

for some reason my oil pressure is kinds high, i dont know why, but its like that from the moment i start the car and it stays that way untill i turn it off. its not extremely high but its more than 3/4 of the way to the end of the gauge. can i do anything to change the pressure? is it a bad thing being high?

Are you using the stock gauge?

I imagine it's fine, and I wouldn't worry about it.

Well then you've got nothing to worry about. Mine reads the same way. Stock oil pressure gauges aren't very accurate anyway, they're more of a "you've got oil pressure or you don't" type of gauge.
