I have discovered that when my radio is on and I am driving there is a high pitch humming noise coming from my speakers. I know the noise I believe is due to the Ignition system, that is why our cars have those filter/resistors things (or whatever they are) attached to the wiring harness of our coils packs.
Mine have been removed I found out and I would like to find out what I should do about it. When I turn the radio off the noise goes away. I've read about this years ago and heard that back in the day people removed them sometimes because if these little resistor things go out they take the coil pack with them.
I just would like to know if...
1. Anyone ever experienced this and what did they do?
or
2. What are the specs and the name of the little device I am referring to so I can go and purchase them and reinstall them?
Thanks guys!!
