Can you guys please recommend to me the highest quality, problem free fuel pump for the car (drop in type)?
I need a 190lph - 255lph. Best, most reliable please. I also need to know what other parts are needed durring replacement. I thought I remembered a gas nozzle grommet or some other small things needed at the same time. Thanks a million for the help, as always. -Robb

Filler kneck grommet is reccomended ... A Walbro is fine, almost all 195-255LPh pumps like bbk Holley performance world all are Walbro fuel pumps.

Thanks, I checked out the TRE 225, one year no questions asked warranty is good incentive. Any modifications needed during install, do you remember?

I just got done doing some more research and will most likely go with a Walbro. Didn't find anything to awful about the TRE but the couple of bucks saved isn't a real motivation factor. trust me, before I start the job I will have read plenty of install jobs and collect bits and pieces of extra info. I've already read that having some extra pieces of quality fuel line handy may help ect.. But thanks for the recommendation. I did read that they can run pretty quiet. I'll get around to it soon. Thanks.

I've had TRE. Didn't like heat. Shut off on me couple of times at the track.

Another vote for Walbro. Remember to test the pump before you button everything up, if hooked up backwards it will prime but will pump into the tank instead of out.

Sorry for this being a little of topic, but will a stock mach 1 190lph fuel pump work on a 96 gt? Plug and play or what?
