im looking for a guide to installing food pins if anybody knows of one. or if you have exsperiance in this area that would be very helpful.

I literally installed my hood pins last week
what i did was measured from the inside of the fender in 3.5" and then 2" back from the hood bumpers. mounted my pins there, put some grease on the top of them after they were the same height, lowerd the hood down untill it touched. The grease will give you the location of your holes. Drill through the frame of the hood (the under side) with a hole saw that is about 1/2" bigger then the bottom locating plate. ONLY DRILL THROUGH THE BOTTOM LAYER! Then re-grease the pins and lower the hood again, drill through the top layer of your hood with a 7/16 drill(i think) in the location of the grease. close the hood and center the locating plates around the pins, use a dremel to open up the holes if you need to, the top plate will cover up the hole anyway. Mark the 4 mounting holes, drill it, and mount the plates up, your all done!
