Hood Release Cable Question?

Ok this is my second post and the first one was answered quickly and accuralty...SO THANKS. I had to replace the hood latch unit and rehooked the hood release cable. Are they adjustable? When i shut the hood it wont "lock" where i need to open it from inside. If i pull up on the hood it pops up. What am i doing wrong?

there is one rubber tab on each side of the radiator support, near the headlights. you can adjust their height by twisting them left or right. this will adjust the height of the hood. adjust them so the hood is lower and the latch will grab the hood closed all the way.

+1 and the Latch it self has a little bit of room for adjustment up or down.

i figured it out after i fixed the damaged parts and replaced the hood the unit itself needed to be bend down just a hair to actually go in the hole on the hood to catch it to lock. Locks fine now. thanks
