I bought a replacment hood scoop for my bullitt. Should I put some locktight on the mounting screws?

Get some Vibra-Tite, it's a thread locker that handles vibration better than anything else I've come across so far. It's used on Harleys a lot. You probably don't need it but it can't hurt.

Only thing is it doesn't (that I know of) have good oil resistance, so it's an outside-the-engine/trans thread locker.

I've had mine off a couple times due to it breaking and wanting to take flight and never added anything and they haven't come loose.
