You can find kits for pretty cheap. Just gotta look.

IMHO: I'd save that $200 and put it towards a H/C/I or gears :santa_grin:

That's what I paid for mine. Came with purge and window switch. It was used mind you, but everything works.

mine has 2 sprays on it. and is just missing a blow down tube, and a window switch.

yeah, easy choice...buy gears and save for a couple weeks for the install. i wouldn't attempt swap on my own, but many have done it. gears are like a 50 shot when you get on it...and it's always there...no filling bottles or worries about engine damage, etc. and it's less headache. get the gears...

would a throttle body and plenum actually do alot? or atleast something noticeable without me having any PI stuff? cause i heard from people it does and from oters that it doesnt..so .....help?

yes it does make a difference, i have done it to one of my previous cars that was non-pi and u can feel the throttle being a ton more responsive....and feeling the pickup being better

Nothing on these non-pi motors do "a lot" until you get into PI stuff or supercharged... Save the money for big power gains... Trust me, I wish I would have done in that way the first time around.

If you want you can get that but i would invest in some cartrige rolls and then port and polish that sucker. Thats what i'm planning on doing but i'm also going with a 5.4 cheapest SOTP feel lol.

Cheap horsepower? What's that? :santa_grin:... I'd save for gears or a nitrous kit. They're the cheapest way to go fast.

well i dont surely have money for all that PI stuff right now or probably wont soon since im still in high school and i dont work but i will after soccer season and i guess i get tired of seeing those 99-04 body gts racing and just take off faster and tey are stock and all those damn other cars at my schooll..i mean i can take soe bdumput i rather have more..i have a 96 gt with k&n cold air intake and its got straight pipes with dumps(no catalic converters) im just trying to get a some more hp's. so that y im just trying to figure out wat i should get..and no i dont think my mom would let me get nitrous..

PI intake and cams... can get er done for under 250, you'll think you got a supercharger, lol.

I wouldn't recomend a used nitrous kit until you do alot of research and know what you are getting and what you need.
