for nitros check dynotune.com i think it is... super good kits and they are on the cheap. like the wet kit i want is right around 500 or 550. SUPER CHEAP

pi intake, cams if you can isntall them yourself.

3.73s or 4.10s are great.

Tb, plenum will help..but I would get a tune after your done modding cause your car will be realy lean and will waste power.

Man u can pick up pi heads/cams/intake used for $300-400 bucks and thats a 40-60 hp gain

If your running straight pipes with no mid pipe your losing power there I recommend getting a h or x pipe. just my 2cents.

pi intake is by far the best cheap mod for these cars(will cost 125 bucks if u buy used and can do things urself, figure intake for 75, 30 for the gaskets, and u can use heater hose and some clamps for the coolant tube and it will be CHEAP but produce good power). or u can do the intake and cams for double the price. y wont ur mom let u get nitrous? its an oxidizer, it helps it breathe

no no no..i odnt have a camaro? lol i have my 96 gt and no i do have an H pipe my bad but other than that i have no catalyst besides the ones by the manifolds...would some long tube headers do anything? im really considerin that pi cam and intake and than get it tuned

1998 was the first year for F-body LS1's, and LT1 guy's love that people think that. 400 rwhp is too hard for them from a ported head and cam swap. They can also troke their blocks to 392 inches. They have it better than we do, lol.

my lt1 should be at 300rwhp as is, with a cam,headers and some boost im looking at 450 with my 10.5 to 1 compression :xmascheers:. im doing pretty god for myself, and i only paid 3500 for it...

mid 11s is the goal... then im gunna build a 6.0 with l92 heads, ls6intake, small cam and alot of boost hopefully... but knowing me ill get tired of it and sell it LONG before that happens. hell im already looking at trading it for a foxbody

shoot i've toyed with the idea of getting an f body. Yea i know the lt1 is a good platform and if i had it , it would deff. get some lt4 stuff in a hurry. Guy here has a cam on an otherwise stock lt1 and put down near 350 hp and some more torque, but i gotta give it to the ls1 with its factory 375 at the crank lol.
