how do SLP tips attach?

okay so ive got an SLP LM1 i got from someone and going to want to get it installed on my 98GT after it comes back outta the shop. im just wondering if anyone has pictures of how the hangers on the SLP tips attach to the car. pictures/really good explanation of it would be nice. dont have the car here so i cant really get a good idea of what it MIGHT hang/hook to. thanks for any help/pics/details

As long as the catback is made for 98 or above mustangs, then the tips and all the hangers will match with your car. 98+ cars have 2 hangers that attach to the rear bumper support. The rest will attach like factory or your other catback. If the catback is made for any year prior to 98 then you have to get an exhaust shop to bend the tips' hangers to be parallel with the tips.

just the tips you saying? if so they just clamp onto the pipes.

i mean the hanger part thats on the top of the tips. where does it mount to? hows it attach?

the hangers on on the pipes and i cant remeber if the kit came with brackets for the hangers or if they went to stock location hangers. the tips themselves dont have hangers on em

I already answered your question my man. The hangers that are on the rear bumper support are for the tips.
