2nd-3rd is the biggest miss, sometimes when you are rushing you dont hit the gate straight on and are already letting up on the clutch

It's a lot harder to do with an aftermarket shifter then the sloppy OEM one

Sometimes your trans just does not want to go in gear when you rev the motor up that high.

I think just about everyone of us has missed a shift at one point or another. And your no exception, and your no John Force. So stop acting like it.

My tranny synchros don't let me put it into gear half the time :p. Occupying that with the stock shifter, we have lots of issues :p.

I only have a problem going from 1st to 2nd at WOT, it grinds sometimes.
Its a concentration thing, not letting off the clutch too early or staying on the throttle while shifting.

it happens to everyone. ive been driving one for about 3.5 years and ive missed 2-3 shift before.

ive only missed it a few times in that period, but then again, i dont powershift my car exactly. you will do it if you haven't yet. everyone does.. if you ever go to a nascar race or watch it on TV, you will hear them missing shifts every now and then. those guys have been driving sticks their whole lives.

It happens to me when my foot is faster than my hand.

We are not text messaging each other, please stop typing like that. It makes it tough on us old timersto read through your hieroglyphics.

If youve never missed a gear while racing then your not doing it right. your supposed to powershift not granny shift lol. It happens to the best drivers. 2-3 is the hardest to do. If you stay at WOT, which is how its supposed to be done during a race, anyway if you stay at WOT then you have to shift fast in order to not spin the motor to 6500 rpms. When you shift fast you can easily miss 3rd. Unless your only doing 65 pulls or of course your the best driver EVER

I've missed 3rd a few times.... I even have a short throw, a shitty one, but it's still a short throw. Everyone has missed gears. Hell it's probaly almost easier to miss a gear then get a dead perfect launch.

Ive missed 1-2 so hard it popped the linkage off the tranny and I had to be pulled home. I though I blew the transmission until I got home. I knew it wasn't good whenI could do circles and everything else with the shifter.
