You haven't seen me shift. I've been racing stick shifts since I was 13 years old, almost all T5's with steeda tria-ax's. You may not have been missing gears but I garuntee you aren't shifting as quick as possible, and if you are then your reflex is slow. It happens to everyone, and theres an obvious reason why your not, it's because when you move faster then T5/T45's want to move, they almost always give you trouble.

Maybe he is just gear shifting sevant. That would make him the best ever.

And I painted the mona lisa.

i notice i only miss gears when im driving politely, foot is faster than the hand when im not thinking about it, do it every other week maybe, always in front of a crowd of people. but i dont always push the clutch all the way in, just to the other side of the friction point, so she grinds on me. i just love it when the revs jump way up and i start slowing down, and i look like an idiot

Its not that i miss gears alot...its just i dont almost hit the one i was aiming for. Grabbing 2nd when expecting 4th is a sick feeling. I dont think the car likes it either. T-handles on manual FTL

i did 2-3-2 last week in my DD with the family in it, and i was at WOT, on the on ramp, thought my little gas sipper was going to explode, all the little lights began coming on, now only two are left, but thats what the scanner is for, right?

the best gear miss story ever.........

A buddy and I pulled up at a light, I was in my completely stock 94 gt and he was in a fairly stock 95 cobra. We both expected him to spank me but I still found myself turning the radio and heater off. It was late at night an the roads were empty and we were young, dumb and fulla, stuff.....

We both reved the engines lightly as the light started to change. When it went to green I thought he was really gonna spank me as I bogged it a little bit, but I was suprised to see him disappear behind me. I was even more suprised when I didn't see or hear him next to me, but saw him in my mirror doing a burn-out not far from where we started.

He pulled up at the next light embarrased as hell as he had the car in 3rd gear when he took off, or rather tried. Then he slammed it down in first and lit it up, but then missed 3rd......

it was 10+ years ago and still great to heckle him about.......

I dont think you guys understand, this guy is perfect. Stop talking to him, he's better than all of us, we can't compete with him. Apparently, Im the only person to ever miss 1-2
You must cant drive if you miss 1 from 2nd seriously lol.

Yep, a 98 Gt mustang with bolt ons is a fast car. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Couldn't hold that one back, it's just not even funny. :)
You meant to say turbo 95 mustang gt, ummmm yeah

I never missed a 2-3 either. Then again it was for good reason. My T45 was on its last legs and would have ended up ******** itself all over the road LOL... it was getting crabby about even quick 1-2 shifts when cold. I don't think I got on it much at all the last month and a half I had it.

Can't beat on your DD if it's all you have
Well lucky for me I have a 06 gt and 07 scion tc :)

you're going to miss shifts.... there is nothing to it.
and if you never do miss a shift, then damnit, props to you......... butguesswhat..you'regoingtomissshifts.

stop being so cocky man. it is rally easy to miss one, i know you're all proud that you can drive a "stick," but just relax. you're going to be racing another dude and go from 1st to 2nd at about 5k and grind 2nd going in. and then probably catch 2nd, and then miss third going in. but its ok, everyone does it.

thats all i wanted to say.
