How do you remove Pvc screen?

Needle nose pliers and lots of patience.... I assume you have removed the rubber seal on top of it that the PCV valve goes into? You also might have to spray it with some PB Blaster if it seems stuck

I used a 90 degree pick to get ahold of it and wiggled it right out!

I had the lower off when i removed mine but the pick idea sounds like it would work the best. The screen part is very thick and can handle some tugging if you are worried about tearing it.
