With a lift and air tools or lying on back with jack stands and hand tools?

joking. Experienced mech with a lift and air. Assuming nothing is broken or rusted in place. I'd say 4-6 just for headers. If he's done a Mustang before closer to 4.

it shold not take to long at all. Its only 2 bolts that hold them onto the H pipe and the bolts that hold them onto the heads. Its not really that difficult of a job

Assuming shorties on a stock car, have to factor in the time it takes to take off most of the smog plumbing and steering shaft on driver's side. Also depends if they're equal or unequal headers (shorties). The equals will usually be more of a PITA when bolting them down to the heads as well as moving the dipstick around. Unequal shorties I think I can do in 3-4 hours with a lift and air tools

It took me 10 hours to do mine headers and xpipe the smog pump tube was a pain

I can imagine....honestly it doesnt seem like something I would ever do with the motor in the car and I will not be putting long tubes back on the car....not that I have a choice with the turbo setup but still.

Yeah I was surprised how easy the longtubes really were all things considered. For the shorties I had though I didn't have to remove the steering shaft, and I deleted the smog crap so shorties were cake.

When I installed the Bassani equal lengths on mine I had to raise the engine remove the steering shaft and had to get a fox dipstick becaus I couldn't re route the original. The JBAs unequal went in without a hitch
