I was just thinking today that I am amazed that some of the cars on here with non-adjustable suspensions can get around town with how low they are when I realized its hard to tell just how low they really are. Tuck a little tire and suddenly it looks like you dragging frame where others should be able to clear speed bumps with no problem by the look of it and still can't. How low is your car? Does it drag and if so where? It could be help full to have an actual data-base or something similar set up so when people want to drop their car they can see how it will actually look and how likely they are to get high-sided on a speed bump.

When I set up my driving ride height on my air ride I set it up so it was 26.5" at the top of the front wheels fenders and 27" in the rear I think it was. I have not measured it all the way aired out, will need to do that tonight as well as get a pic of the driving ride height.

26 1/8th in the front. Coilovers with Strange struts

26 1/4th in the rear. Stock springs w/ one coil cut.

I do ok for the most part. I would not attempt speed bumps but I seem to clear most normal bumps in the road well to this point. So far I have not dragged the H pipe on anything or the long tubes.

my front is lowered bout 3" and the rear maybe 2.5, only scrape the midpipe going over certain angles; never tried a speed bump.

with my little wheels and with the side exhaust it probably looks that way but that is why I am curious if anyone ever actually measured it. I hear an inch or two here/there but somehow it always looks different with a pic of the car.

I don't have a tape measure handy, but I have H&R super sports with full isos all around and I have maybe 5 inches from the convertible brace under the k-member to the ground and it scrapes on sharp angles or speed bumps. I have to take almost all speed bumps at an angle. Hard right turns cause my driver's side wheel to scrape the wheel well liner where the battery bulge is which is super annoying.

Sportlines, no iso's, no idea exact ride height, but it's perfect. I can drive over just about anything. Do occasionally get the passenger muffler scraping, but that's because it got partially ripped off on a railroad track and I had to wire it up. I think the difference you are seeing Scott has a lot to do with the tire/wheel combo more than anything. As well as side skirts, side exhaust, front bumper, chin spoiler or no chin spoiler... All that fun stuff plays a roll in how every car looks. Example, Tony's car probably isn't quite as low as it appears due to his body kit which totally works to his advantage. But he's still hella lower than most of us lol

My front is lowered 2.8". My chin spoiler takes alot of damage from driveways but stickers fix that.
My mid-pipe has never scraped, but my convertible cross brace has taken a heavy beating.
The rear is about 1.5". I'll be dropping it another inch or so this summer.

I'll measure tomorrow, but I'm thinking I'm probably 2 inches or less from the ground in the front. I've only driven it once at this height, and I was actually pushing some gravel when I pulled off the road to turn around. I'm probably going to go a little lower in the front though.

I have to use 3 boards to get my jack under the K-member

Thanks! Lol I got my issue fixed. It turns out the rear coilovers were bottoming out. As in the sleeve was hitting the top mount... so me and Billy (rideorange812 on here) are fabbing up a drop bracket to give me more suspension travel and more shock rebound area in the rear. I'm hoping to be a tad lower than it is now.

fuuk yea dude..i'm seeing your car in a whole new light now haha. dude make sure you're not just hitting the bumpstop right above the dif. alot of guys hit that thinking they need new springs or something needs adjusted. if you're hitting that then nothing will matter. you will keep having harsh rebound. yank that ***** bro, lol.

Lol thanks man! That bumpstop has been out for a few weeks now. I thought the pumpkin was hitting the bottom of the car, but I'm glad it was just the coilovers bottoming out. I've never heard of that happening to anyone else before, but it happened to me! lol
