How low can I go?

I just got some 20in A/R Carol shelby edition rims. I really liked the way they filled up the wheel well. but this means the next thing I buy is lowering springs. I was thinking Eibach pro kit, but will this lower it enough? Can I go lower without the tires rubbing? I have had few mustangs, but have never changed the wheels or springs? I also plan on installing caster camber plates and Fox shocks/struts at the same time.

i really dont know but i do know that stock tires can rub with the lowering kit while going over bumps, potholes and stuff like that, but i guess it also depends on how high a tire you put on it to, some people run a high tire and some run lowpros, but again i'm not to sure but someone else will probably come in and say better info about it

with 16 inch stock tires or the optional 17's, if you put lowering springs on, you will rub lock to lock no question, you will rub over big bumps, you will rub over most anything. With 20's your pushing it on stock springs with rubbing. With lowering, it isnt going to work. Bad idea and its only going to cause trouble.

20's on an SN95? I dont' know about that... course i'm hung on 17's, however a nice set of 16" ony's aint bad. I'm not even a big fan of 18's, i guess call me old school...

hurmm I had eibach pros and 18s and never rubbed, it was TOO high for me...you should be good with the pros.

I was going to get 18's, but the guys at the tire shop put a 20 on my car and it filled the wheel wells very nicely. I think with the Pro Kit it will be at stock ride height and almost no gap between the tires and wheel well. Thanks guys!
