I was wondering if anyone knew how reliable the motors out of the terminators are? Like how many miles can they go without major repairs and things like that?

Any engine will last with the proper maintenance and tune.

If you are going to be putting big boost to the 03/04 Cobra motors, keep in mind to have a very good fuel supply and keep detonation away and timing conservative. Even though the pistons are forged they are a different material and dont like bad tunes/detonation.

There is some good reading about these motors on ModularFords.

Both are right, also look into svtperformance.com too.

Btw i have to laugh at your sig picture, that was from one of our local meets at harahs casino in STL back in i want to say 04? Wierd how that picture has made it around the nation. Kinda cool. It was the local fbody forum and then just a 4v modular meet from stlmustangs on the same day.

So your telling me that all of those F-Bodys just parked that way and then a Cobra owner parked his SVT up in front and took a picture or what eh?

Basically yes. stlmustangs has a meeting that ended up as the same day as Fastlouis (stl fbody site) and they were taking their group pic and after they were done Steve (the then owner) pulled it up.

That 03 was one of the first auto (4r70w) cobras in the country. Almost all the writeups you see on auto swaps were done by him.

Its the dynomax side exhaust setup, kind of quiet for most people though until you get on it though.

Did you get aftermarket side skirts or did you just cut an opening in the stock ones?
