how to do cooling fan override switch

ok ive read different ways to do it on different posts here. whats the best way to do this mod? I want my fans to run automatically like normal , but i want to be able to turn them on whenever i want. ( i also wan an illuminated switch 8)) can someone give me a quick how to?? thanks

u have to buy a separate fan and tie a switch into that

no i want to use the stock fans

wire in a switch to the temp sensor that controls your fan, then when its on it completes the circuit and fans will kick in like normal, flip the switch breaking the circuit and the fan will run continuously. :dunno: seems like the simplest and cheapest way to me
