That reminds me of this stupid girl in Fort Wayne Indiana that was selling her car on craigslist. It had GT badges on the sides and trunk lid. She was advertising it as a GT but it had a single tail pipe coming out of the back. Fail.
I contacted her and asked, "Is this a V6 that you're trying to pawn off as a GT, or is it a sleeper GT with a single tailpipe coming out the back?" She never responded ... imagine that.

I never understood the whole "clone" nonsense. Your car is what it is. Why spend the time and energy trying to hype up the exterior rather than just getting the real thing?

I like that the bullitts are cobra wheels lol. :D

Deeplist.
On the contrary young lad. My car looks like a GT on the outside, although it has no GT badges. It does have 35th anni badges, which will leave people guessing. As well as the GT scoop and side scoops, and rear bumper. I'd rather leave people guessing.

Guess I are rice for having a chin spoiler and moving my wing back, and putting on the scoops.

If they weren't in southern Indiana, I'd probably buy it just to re-sell. I sold my V6 a little before Christmas for $3000. The asking price isn't bad.

Hood is ugly for sure. But it looks like it started life as a GT hood. Depending on the mileage it's not a bad price.

Wasn't AGE CLASSIC or ABC EXCLUSIVE the ones selling that hood back in the day?

RICE- Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement. None of what you did was trying to make it look faster or like a racecar. Ergo, it's all good. :)

That hood is nasty for sure....

As for badges I really dislike when people throw a gt badge on a v6. Even though i have a cobra bumper and cobra R hood I still have the tri pony badges, which really screws with peoples heads :p

Us car guys are funny as to what's acceptable and not with badging and mods.

I think badges and stickers are fine, as long as you're not trying to pass off as that model. Or advertise as something it's not. All cars are a sum of the parts that's on them. Any car can be cloned or duplicated, but the vin is what makes it what it is.

Cobra clone = Cobra badges? That's hideous. And AmAlley I saw that on TMC. That wasn't the best clone. Haha
