I cleaned my k&n filter, did a seafoam clean and changed my plugs now the car won't stay running. She spits, sputters and bucks. Any slight throttle input makes it skip around and die. Also, at cruise speeds, if I gas it then let off, it bucks like its falling apart. She ran great before and even after I did all the work. She's been parked a week and now she's driving me mad. Could it be excessive filter oil on the MAS reeds? How can I clean those? I'm open to suggestions.

im sure you could clean the mass air flow meter if it was super oily BUT i would make sure you check what you can use, and that there is no leaks behind the maf (maft to intake tubing, intake tubing to throttle body

I used alchol to clean mine and used a que tip as well...some people suggest electronic cleaner to clean the maf. Is the car smoking at all when it keeps cutting out and how much did you use?

No more seafoam, check.

Now, none of the other vehicles I've used it in caused any issues. Just my sn95, go figure. When I get home I'm gonna remove the sensor and clean the reeds with a MAS cleaning agent and a qtip. I'm going to clean the housing, and intake tract seperately. Should work..

To answer a question, yes she's smoking some while she runs like shit. Otherwise she doesn't smoke. Period.

So, after all was said and done, she still wasn't running right. I re-checked everything and realized i had neglected to plug the MAS/IAT harness into the main harness. That's what the issue was all along.. d'oh

Thats not so bad. I once tried to bump my timing and forgot to pull the spout. I couldnt figure out why it was jumping all over the place for about 10 minutes... LOL
