So I come from the world of JDM and all of this is very new to me. In high school I always wanted a new edge mustang so bad but can never afford one. Recently I came across an 02 mustang GT with a vortech V2 TI trim that the guy said was not running and there's a bunch of problems but I knew the blower had just been rebuilt Plus it had a $4,000 wheel and tire combination on it so for five grand I jumped all over it and figured I'd give it a look and the worst case scenario I'd rip the blower and the wheels and tires off and just go buy another mustang. I ended up discovering but this guy just had no clue what he was doing no vacuum lines were installed he had plugs plugged into the wrong spark plug Wells everything was wrong it took me one afternoon to get the car running absolutely amazing. The car runs and drops fantastic my air fuel ratio looks pretty good it's extremely rich at idle which is slightly concerning but nothing crazy and it came with an SCT tuner that says it has two custom tunes in my question is is there a way to look in any of the data in that tuner or anything I need to monitor outside of the air fuel ratio to tell if the car needs a new tune. Like I said the only thing that really jumps out to me is the fact that it runs extremely rich at idle however it also has a really bad idle because the idle air valve is horrible and just a cheap crappy Chinese part I'm in the process currently of tracking down either an oem one or a motorcraft part. The car runs perfectly fine it isn't sluggish anywhere but I don't know if that custom tune that is on the SCT tuner was actually a custom tune done at a Dyno or custom tune done remotely and I have no clue if there's a way to be able to tell.

Im thinking you can plug the tuner into a computer and somehow see the tuners info. Then get intouch with the tuner. The tuner will have all the info

I just reread my response and I dont think i worded it correctly

Hook the handheld tuner to a computer. Im not sure if a sct program is needed or an app of some sort to see the info, but the company that wrote the tune should have a business name on the tunes. Maybe ask previous owner about tune info?

probably easiest to contact the previous owner if that information is available. otherwise, call SCT and see what they can do. I have found them to be very helpful in the past.
