hydraboost on a 95/ good or bad?

wondering if the newer hydaboosts were a upgrade on our cars. any affects or effects/ easy install what ya think?

i don't know of anybody who has done this. I can't imagine it would really help much for the price and install with stock brakes. Your better off getting a baer or cobra kit or even a 4-piston brembo

i wouldn't bother the benefits wouldn't outweigh the costs i don't think. I used to work on Chevy service trucks for a local county and i hated working on the brake system on those. Just would always end up being a pain in the a**.

I'm with Pro on this one just step up to a Cobra kit. Heck even step up to PBR dual piston thats a big improvement over stock by a good bit.

i hate hydro boost systems, they are great if you need more room but if you blow a hose (like i did on my chevy work truck) you loose both the steering and the brakes.

they actually stop REALLY hard if set up right, its a pretty popular upgrade for guys with full size jeeps like my 85 grand wagoneer.... wood grain everywhere *****es :icon_rr:
