Any of you ever rebuilt your jack? My floor jack can no longer lift anything. Sounds like it is leaking air. It does have plenty of hydraulic fluid in it. I'm guessing the seals need replaced. If it is possible to rebuild these let me know, and how to would be a good thing.

I've heard it's fairly difficult to rebuild one. Have you looked into new ones? I think a decent jack is around $60 now.

Yeah, I can get a new one pretty cheap, but I'm trying to save some money. I have a big jack that I keep at home, but I need a small functional one to use at the drag strip.

I have two other jacks but this is the one I take to the track to change out my slicks. I'm not paying $100 for another. If I can't rebuilt it, I'll just do without.

If you all have any suggestions on rebuilding it lets hear them.

It really depends on the jack itself, make and model would help us

It may just be a seal and oil change needed, it also may be a dying cylinder
